I grew up in the great PNW spending time in both Washington and Oregon, taking full advantage of all outdoor pursuits and the beautiful places they have to offer. I now reside in Whitefish, Montana, and am continually grateful to live in a place that allows me to trail run, ski, and adventure to my hearts content.
As a young athlete, my relationship with sports was drastically changed under the care and direction of incredible physical therapists. When I was told by others that I would never compete or run, they empowered me and never let me give up on my athletic pursuits. Today I have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from South College in Knoxville, TN and a National Board Certification as a Specialist in Orthopedics. Outside of the clinic, I coach Cross Country at Whitefish High School and distance runners of all paces and ages.
As an athlete and especially a runner, I deeply understand how interrupting injury can be – not only to your goals and lifestyle, but for many it can result in a loss of identity. I understand the frustration of being shuffled through the medical system with sport-related injuries, and became a physical therapist to help those looking for an alternative to injections, surgeries, and “stop running”. There are better options, and I’m here to help you navigate them and get back to the activities you love.
